Special Projects

This one comes from me. On Valentine's Day a lot of people are in a good mood, cheerful, and romantic. In my case, I get a little annoyed and somewhat sarcastic because I don't like all the fuss it stirs up. So I made this card for all my coworkers with the somewhat morbid sense of humor that characterizes me. Many of them took the advice as a safety rule.

I almost forgot to post this other little project: a Christmas card sent to employees with a message from Dr. Migdalia Torres. Another one of those last-minute little projects that turned out nice. It has traditional Puerto Rican Christmas elements along with some additional digital and technological touches. I also added a sense of the universe and limitless frontiers as a "subliminal message" for our team. They told me they liked it a lot.

I created this graphic to promote SEDUE's courses as a special project, which was published in the March 2008 issue of Imagen magazine. This piece had some special challenges since I had to create it "from scratch" in the middle of a work rush, practically overnight. In the end, though, the work was satisfying... next time I hope to have more time for the little details.
